We observed the same prospect as in China. However, WBPH is not a problem in the Mekong Delta. We have paid attention to this target pest since introduction of BPH resistant varieties from 30 years ago but WBPH was not able to develop their population to take over the hollow left by BPH on their resistant varieties. Maybe, we are lucky ecologically.
